SOCAR decreases domestic natural gas supply by 23%

SOCAR says22.190 mcm of blue gas was pumped in the storages. 160.961 mcm of blue gas was taken. Thus, 1 048.753 mcm of gas was used during December. Of this, 932.830 mcm of gas was sent to industry, population and Azerenergy, 38.728 mcm to Georgia, 40.317 mc to Russia and 36.878 mcm to Iran for Nakhchivan.

SOCAR supplied the country’s natural gas system with 11 509.420 mcm of gas, in Januaey-December, 1 179.420 mcm compared to forecast. Besides, 804.183 mcm of gas was taken from gas storages and 1 924.413 mcm of gas was pumped in the storages.

Thus, 10 389.190 mcm of gas was used during 2010. Of this, 8 921.757 mcm of gas was sent to industry, population and Azerenergy, 339.158 mcm to Georgia, 799.751 mcm to Russia and 328.524 mcm to Iran for Nakhchivan.
