Azerbaijan doubles cotton exports

Azerbaijan stepped up cotton exports in October 2010. The country renewed exports in September after a full stop in June, according to Azerbaijan State Customs Committee.

In January-October, cotton exports made up 16.01% of exports for January-October 2009, and revenues from its exports fell by 85.9%. In January-October, exports totaled 2,224.4 tons of cotton, accounting for 0.01% of the country’s total exports.
