Azerbaijan continues to increase the import of sugar

Azerbaijan has increased the import of sugar for the January-May period of 2010. To be precise, Azerbaijan imported 116711,1 tons of sugar, according to the Azerbaijani Customs Committee.

"Sugar import into the country has a 14% increase, in comparison with the same period of 2009", said the committee representative.

As for the 2009, Azerbaijan imported 306744,9 tons of sugar, which also was more than in 2008, by 15,7%.
