A working group of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan delegates and partner companies were on a visit to Turkey, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said.

Abdullayev said talks have started to sign a new gas contract with Turkey and he will meet with BP-Azerbaijan President Rashid Javanshir tomorrow.
Abdullayev also said documentation work on construction of Petkim petrochemical complex in Turkey ended, and they await the government to issue a license.
"A complex with a capacity of 10 million tons will be built there. About 4 million tons will be used as raw material for Petkim, the rest will be transported to Europe and Turkey," he said.
