Head of the Azerbaijani Chamber of Auditors: Many countries want to use Azerbaijan's audit experience

Many countries expressed the desire to use the experience of Azerbaijan in the field of auditing, head of the Azerbaijani Chamber of Auditors Vahid Novruzov in the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic said during a workshop-consultation "Transparency and application of international standards in enterprises' activity".

The workshop was organized by the training company GRBS (G & R Business Services, LLC) together with the Azerbaijani Audit Chamber and the Ministry of Finance of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic.

"Development of a country led to success in the field of accounting and auditing. Azerbaijan has achieved a legal framework of internal audit", Novruzov said.

Focusing on the economic-social potential of Nakhchivan, Bahram Gurbanov stressed that the study of national and international standards of accounting by employees of enterprises will play an important role in the precise accounting by enterprises. This, in its turn, will lead to the successful implementation of regional policy in the country.

Adviser to the chairman of the House Najaf Talibov spoke at a workshop "Role of international standards in ensuring transparency of financial statements".

Consultant of GRBS training center on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Elshan Rahimov held a workshop on international and national accounting.

Over 200 specialists - accountants of commercial and budgetary organizations and other representatives attended the workshop.

Earlier, the workshop "Transparency and application of international standards in the activity of enterprises" was held in Khachmaz March 15. They were conducted in Khachmaz, Nakhchivan. In future they will be conducted in Lankaran, Zagatala and Ganja.
