Azerbaijan's Azerkimya state-run company, ENI sign memo and agreement

Azerbaijani Azerkimya State Company and Italy's ENI signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Confidentiality Agreement on the project of building a new petrochemical complex and a complex to produce fertilizers in Azerbaijan, Azerkimya said on Oct. 1.

The documents were signed in Paris on Sept. 29.

During the meeting the company hosted a presentation of the project of plant to clean sea water, which will operate as part of the fertilizers producing complex in Azerbaijan. Detailed information was provided on water purification membrane. President of the State Company Azerkimya, Majid Karimov, was given some other information.  

In accordance with the order by the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, works are realized on the project of petrochemical complex and fertilizers producing complex by Azerkimya.
