Azerbaijan’s industry and energy minister meets UAE foreign minister

During the meeting Aliyev spoke about Azerbaijan’s recent achievements, reforms and said countries with rich energy resources and economic potential are interested in deepening cooperation.

Azerbaijani minister congratulated the foreign minister on decision by the International Renewable Energy Agency to locate headquarters in Abu Dabi.

Aliyev expressed his full support for the Agency in Azerbaijan and noted that Azerbaijan has implemented program on alternative and renewable sources of energy and foreign experience in this field is being studied and cooperate is carried out with international organizations.

Nahyan, in his turn, noted that his country attaches great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of alternative and renewable energy.
