Azerbaijan-Greece intergovernmental economic commission to hold a session in Baku

The Greek ambassador to Azerbaijan Johannes Metaksas noted that a preparation to the upcoming session is currently held via diplomatic channels.

He said Greece is interested in the development of bilateral relations with Azerbaijan in all economic spheres. Conduction of a session of the intergovernmental commission will promote development and deepening of economic relations between the two countries.

"Greece expects the Azerbaijani side to provide information about the date of the session", noted the diplomat.

Notably, the first session of the intergovernmental economic commission Azerbaijan-Greece was held in Baku in 2005.
