SOCAR specialists to share experience with Libyan oil workers

SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev received Mohamed Omar Al-Barrani, Lian co-chair of the Libya-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission, secretary on Asian and Australian affairs of the Libyan National Committee on External Ties and International Cooperation.
Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for SOCAR that the visitor voiced Libya's interest in cooperation with Azerbaijan in oil sector.

According to Abdullayev, Azerbaijan's experience in offshore oil production will be useful for Libya, which has just started the offshore oil exploration.

He announced that SOCAR has highly qualified and competent specialists in oil spheres of oil industry. The sides agreed that a delegation of SOCAR specialists will arrive in Libya to hold consultations in early 2009.
