The Georgian Finance Ministry has provided information about the external debt of Georgia and total volume of arrears.

As of September 30, the external state debt of Georgia and the overall volume of arrears, taken under state guarantee, made $2,324,908,000.
Georgia's total arrears on the basis of bilateral agreements made up $525.021mln. Of this amount the debt to Austria totaled $1.611 mln, Azerbaijan - $14.427 mln, Turkmenistan - $1.611 mln, Turkey - $41.841mln, Iran - $11.319 mln, Russia - $119.98 mln, Armenia - $17.42 mln, Uzbekistan - $0.378 mln, Ukraine– $0.345 mln, Kazakhstan - $27.774 mln, Japan - $50.225 mln, Kuwait - $13.987 mln, Netherlands - $9.589 mln, the United States - $39.835 mln, and China - $4,384 mln.
Total arrears of Georgia on funds drawn as Eurobonds made $500 mln.
Georgia owed $1,289,009 to international financial institutions. The loans in the amount of $946.791 mln were drawn through the International Development Association, which is part of the WB group, $82.399 mln – through the European Union, $216.705 mln – through the International Monetary Fund and $30.026 mln – through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The external debt on loans, drawn under state guarantee, amounted $10.878 mln as of 30 September. At the same time, Georgia must repay $4.088 mln to Germany and $6.79 mln to EBRD.
