41 new underground stations to be constructed in Azerbaijani capital in the next 17 years

According to chief of the structure Taghi Ahmedov, a new station is planned to be built in the area of the new bus station complex.

The Azadlyg station will be commissioned next year.

Through the said period it is planned to construct stations in Sumgayit, near the Heydar Aliyev international airport and Patamdart.

It should be reminded that Bakumetropolitan was launched in 1967. It currently accounts for 21 stations and 1 depot.
