Azerbaijan not confirming information about suspension of parallel energy supplies with Georgia

26 September 2008 [14:21] - TODAY.AZ
The parallel supplies of electric power between Azerbaijan and Georgia have not been ceased, said vice president of Azerenerji Marlen Askerov.
"Our grids are working in the parallel regime. The countries conduct import and export of electric power", announced he.

Askerov denied the information about the cessation of mutual supplies of electric energy between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

It should be noted that earlier the head of the public relations service of the company "Commercial operator of Georgian power grid" Ani Bregvadze said that mutual supplies of electric power with Russia and Azerbaijan, conducted in parallel regime, have been ceased.
