Natik Aliyev: "Azerbaijan can take part in Nabucco project as an investor"

He said everything will depend on the state of the project development.

The Ministry declared Azerbaijan's intention to raise its energy supplies to the western markets. Gas transportation in the southern and northern directions via the Caspian Sea to Afghanistan and Pakistan or involvement into other projects are additional capital investments for Azerbaijan.

Moreover, the current political situation (especially in Iran and Iraq) does not allow the gas pipeline project shareholders to predict which resources will be available, said Aliyev.
