International fuel quality center (IFQC), Huston, has prepared a rating of 100 countries with the lowest norms of serum containment in diesel fuel.

The leader on the list is Sweden, which was one of the first to apply restrictions on serum containment. It is followed by Germany and Japan for these countries produce the most pure diesel fuel, which is least harmful for environment and for expensive diesel engines.
Azerbaijan shares 89-90-91st places with Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, while Armenia takes the 45-46th places and Georgia-the 50th.
The politicians and industrial representatives throughout the world have been working to reduce norms of serum containment in fuel for already several centuries. Yet, the differences between these norms are preserved. On the whole, most countries of the world strive for reducing serum containment in fuel. All EU members occupied the upper half of the rating list. It is expected that almost 100% of diesel fuel on the EU market will be serum-free by 2009. The level of serum containment significantly differed among the countries, leading on the rating list (up to 10 ppm) and the rest of the countries on the bottom of the list, which allow up to 5000 ppm of serum in diesel fuel.
