Industrial production and services in Azerbaijan top AZN 18 bln in January-July of this year

The rise in oil production made 14.8%, gas extraction-68.6%, foodstuffs production-1.1%, chemical production-57.8%, leather, footwear and leader production-38%, metallurgic industry and ready-made metallic wares-72.9% and so on.

Through the reported period the country produced 28.8 mln tons of oil and 9.1 bln cubic meters of gas. The rise in oil sector made 15.1% and in non-oil sector 8.3% as compared to the same period of the last year.

Goods made 95% of production and industrial services-5%. State enterprises made 17.9% of industrial production and private sector 82.1%.
