Russian Vneshtorgbank completing deal on purchase of control stocks in Azerbaijani AF Bank

Russian Vneshtorgbank will soon complete the deal on purchase of control stocks (51%) in Azerbaijani AF Bank, said Russian trade representative in Azerbaijan Yuri Shedrin.
He said certain formalities are left to registration of the VTB daughter bank in Azerbaijan.

"We wish the bank to be registered this month. VTB office in Baku is ready".

Shedrin also noted that VTB has shutdown its Nagorno Karabakh affiliate of the Savings Bank, it purchased in Armenia.
