GUAM member-states (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova) are set to establish a single bank, announced GUAM Secretary General Valeri Chechelashvili in Baku.
Mentioning the Black Sea Trade & Development Bank (BSTDB) as an example, he added that the idea of setting up a GUAM regional bank seem realistic.
"We need to think over a number of issues and prepare necessary documents. I can’t say how the bank can be named but I am convinced that GUAM will be able to establish its bank," he added.
He also added that GUAM countries may form an international consortium to implement investment projects.
