Baku-Tbilisi-Erzirum pipeline transports 1,200,000,000 cubic meters of gas in Q1

In the first quarter of 2008 the main pipelines of Azerbaijan transported 11,800,000 tons of oil and 2,600,000,000 cubic meters of gas.

Day.Az reports with reference to the State Statistical Committee, the volume of oil transportation is 35.6% higher as compared to the same period of the last year and gas -80.7%.

3/4 oil transportation via the pipeline fall on Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and through the reported period 8,800,000 tons of oil were pumped from Baku within the said period.

The South Caucasus gas pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Erzirum) transported 27.6% or 1,200,000,000 cubic meters of gas.
