"It is not known when but these banks plan to be represented in several CIS countries, including Azerbaijan. These banks open branches or acquire local banks in other countries", he added.

He noted that the Association supports Azerbaijani banks’ presence in Russia.

He hailed the growth rate in Azerbaijan’s banking sector.

"Bank deposits grew by 86.2% in the past year. This proves reliability of the banks", he added.
