Azerbaijan has become a leader among the CIS states by industrial growth rates through two months of 2008.
The CIS statistical committee reports that industrial production has risen by 13.3% as compared to January-February of 2007.
Belarus is the second on the list of leaders by industrial growth rates-the country's due indicator made up 12.9%.
Moldova is the third on the list with 9.6% rise in industrial production.
Industrial production rose by 8.8% in Ukraine, 7.4% in Kyrgyzstan, 3.4% in Kazakhstan and 3% in Armenia. The reduction in industrial production was fixed in Tajikistan (14.7%).
The average rise in industrial production in the Commonwealth made up 7% as compared to the same period of 2007.
The Statistical Committee lacks information on the dynamics of industrial production in Georgia, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
