Unfortunately, the reports of international organizations, especially Transparency International, contain biased moments in the assessment of situation and definition of corruption index.
The due announcement was made by Kamran Aliyev, chief of department for combat with corruption under Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General explaining the reason of Azerbaijan's constant being among the leaders on the list of most corrupted countries, despite its leadership's periodical declarations about great achievements, attained in the combat with corruption.
He considers that this is due to the falseness of principles applied while making requests.
"Thus, it can not be said that the situation, reflected in such reports, corresponds to reality. I can prove this by the fact that if we compare the approaches of different international organizations to situation in different countries of the world, we will see a great difference. This proves their being biased. Certainly, we should study all facts in all cases, investigate reasons and carry out our own analysis", K.Aliyev said.
