Ilham Aliyev: "Boeing-787 will be brought to Azerbaijan among all the CIS states"

"A new large seaport will be built in Azerbaijan".
The due announcement was made by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, at a session on the development of highway network in the country, as reported by the press service for the President.

The President noted that they have familiarized with this project and new tankers are purchased for the purpose.

"Ships and ferry boats are purchased for transportation of dry cargo. It should be noted that the volume of cargo, transported via Azerbaijan, will rise dramatically with commissioning of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway section. And we should be ready to it", I.Aliyev said.

The President of Azerbaijan stressed the necessity to prepare the whole transport infrastructure for it and primarily strengthen the Caspian Shipping Company.

"As you know, the government allocates funds for purchasing new ships for developing of shipping. We will further assist the shipping development",the President noted,

He said the government managed to develop air transport and purchase new air crafts by means of state secured loans.

"We purchase modern airplanes including Boeing, Airbus and ATR. We can say that Azerbaijan's aircraft park lacks old planes. Boeing-787 will be brought only to Azerbaijan among the CIS states", I.Aliyev noted,

He said regional airports are being constructed in Azerbaijan.
