Heydar Babayev: "Inflation rate will be less than 12% in Azerbaijan in 2008"

Inflation rate will not exceed 12%.

According to Azerbaijan's Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev, this figure is not expected to rise this year.

"If expected processes occur on the world market, the inflation rate will be less than 12%", the Minister announced.

It should be reminded that inflation rate made up 16.7% in 2007. The government forecasts it to be 12-13% this year.
