Under the deal with Det.Al LTD, Danieli will provide machinery and engineering for an integrated mining-metallurgic plant, it said in a statement.
The Italian group said new technology used in the contract should boost revenues to EUR 3.8 billion ($5.76 billion) by 2010, despite an expected market contraction in two-to-four years time.
Danieli said it had EUR 1.3 billion in revenues in the second half of 2007.
