Oil refinery complex creation depending on governments' decision in Azerbaijan

Meanwhile, the Azerbaijan Investment Company has already received several appeals from the countries of Near East for implementation of smaller projects in petrochemical industry, in particular, on production of ethanol and methanol.

"If there is a decision to start activity in this field, we are ready to accelerate the work, while now we are considering the introduced proposals", Gasimov said. He added that the project, ordered by Allied, was designed for a single module complex of production of oil petrochemical goods and is long-term.

"Our project has been transferred to the government and we do not now whether it will be adopted or the State Oil Company will carry out its own analysis in this sphere", he concluded.
