Transparency International holds regular anti-corruption trainings in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijani representation of Transparency International held trainings against corruption in Baku, Ganja, Lenkoran, Guba and Sheki on February 11 and 16.

The due information has been provided by a source from the Transparency International Azerbaijani representation, Day.Az reports.

Thus, a training for the Baku police officers was held on February 14, Lenkoran department of the State Real Estate Register Service on February 16, for Ganja school teachers on February 14-16, for teachers of the Garachay village of Guba on February 13, residents of Darajannat village of Sheki on February 14.

By the information, the arrangement was conducted in the framework of the National Strategy for Raising Transparency and Combating Corruption.  The trainings provided information about corruption, its causes and forms and plans for measures for improving the activity of law-enforcement bodies on "The national strategy for raising transparency and combating corruption" and others.
