Azerbaijan joins system of permanent control over quality of international air-mail

Azerbaijan's postal administration has joined the system of permanent control of the World Postal Union of quality of international air-mail in February of this year.

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies that the system envisions permanent delivery of control letters on mutual basis between Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja,Sumgayit, Mingechevir and different cities of Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Estonia.

The control-passage deadlines of ordinary letter correspondence will be defined on permanent basis and users will be informed.

It should be noted that accession to this network has been implemented in accordance with recommendations of the World Postal Union and instructions of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies.
