USAID planning to implement three economic projects in Azerbaijan

US Agency for International Development (USAID) will allocate $6,000,000 for implementation of projects in Azerbaijan in 2008.

The due information has been provided by USAID coordinator on Azerbaijan Scott Taylor.

He said there is a plan to implement three projects, aiming to develop the economic sector in 2008. The first one the a project of trade and investments encouragement, the second at stability of the financial sector and the third at the competitiveness of the private sector.

It should be added that USAID has invested $284,000,000 to Azerbaijan since 1992.
