SOCAR President receives vice president of CNPC

President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev met with the vice president of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Sun Sanshen.

According to the press service for SOCAR, during the meeting R.Abdullayev noted that CNPC is one of the first oil companies on the Azerbaijani market.

He said SOCAR and CNPC cooperate in various directions and stressed the expanded exchange of experience between local and Chinese oilmen.

S.Sanshen noted that CNPC is currently implementing 70 projects in 26 countries and is an owner of 6 large pipelines. The vice president of the Chinese company voiced hope for the continuation of cooperation with SOCAR.
