Department for combat with cybercrimes created under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Internal Affairs

"Number of cybercrimes has recently risen in the result of development of cybernetics and electronic technologies throughout the world. Azerbaijan is not an exception in this sense, therefore, serious measures have been taken to combat such crimes and a special department has been created for the purpose", he said,

The Deputy Minister noted that there were great problems in this sphere but following the establishment of the new department all problems and difficulties will be removed.

"The created department will engage in investigation, study and prevention of cybercrimes", he assured.
