"It will be possible if there is no drought in summer", he added.
Veliyev announced that the three days snowfalls are favorable for agriculture of Azerbaijan and will not cause damage.
"Agricultural pests die of cold, possibility of agricultural diseases is reducing and soil humidity is increasing. Farmers have undertaken measures to protect plants from cold. Therefore, fruit trees are not expected to die", the chief of department said.
He is confident that snowfalls lay basis for higher productivity this year.
The Ministry of Agriculture does not have information about possible resolution of the President to pay compensation to farmers for high cost of fuel in period of spring field works.
Veliyev voiced hope that such a resolution will be adopted again.
