The rise in the gross domestic product of Azerbaijan (GDP) from the beginning of the year until late November made up AZN 20.818 billion (over $24.6 billion), which is 25.4% higher as compared to the same period of 2006.

The due information was fixed in the declaration of the National bank of Azerbaijan on major macroeconomic indicators of country's economy by results of the first 11 months of the year.
The GDP in the non-oil sector of country's economy has risen more than AZN 7.458 billion (over $8.8 billion) which is 9.9% higher as compared to the same period of 2006.
Investments into the fixed capital neared AZN 5.46 billion (about $14.6 billion) in the reported period, which is 16.8% higher as compared to the same period of 2006.
Nominal incomes of the population exceeded AZN 12.36 billion (over $14.6 billion) in the reported period, a 39.7% rise from the previous year, and nominal wage made up AZN 199 (more than $235), which is 41.7% higher as compared to 11 months of 2006, according to the National Bank of Azerbaijan.
