License for alcohol withdrawn from beverage producers

Ismat Abbasov said Alov Industry Trade Association, Aghsu Sherab-3, Drujba LLC and Premier LLC were stopped from producing vodka.

"We have 5 vodka makers now. But, some of them still fail to meet the production capacity registered by the ministry. If they continue to go like this, we will reconsider this issue at this year's end. We can cancel their license," he added.

The minister concluded that there are 45 alcoholic beverage producers, 30 beer makers, 1 tobacco producer and 42 strong drinks importers in Azerbaijan. APA-Economics
