Oil pumping via BTC restored

Oil export through Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline was restored in Thursday evening after a short while of interruption.

BP-Azerbaijan told APA-Economics that Azerbaijan halted pumping oil to the pipeline in Sangachal Terminal soon after Botas International Limited, the Turkish operator of the pipeline, detected an unauthorized intrusion. The failure was repaired.

Despite the suspension the export operation run on schedule as there were enough oil stockpiles in Ceyhan Port.
