Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey are studying prospects of the idea of connecting the national power systems to operate in parallel.

Vice President of Azerenergy, Azerbaijan State Energy Company, told APA-Economics that the discussion among the parties are at the first stage and continue to progress.

He said the parallel operation of power grids is very prospective and will enable the three countries to exchange, sell and buy electricity.
