Flour products prices not to jump in Azerbaijan, Agriculture Minister says

The price of flour products are not expected to leap in Azerbaijan and the country is capable of supplying its own needs for grain, said Azeri Agriculture Minister Ismat Abbasov.

"Commissioning of Baku Grain Terminal will pave the way for price stability," he noted.

He said that bird flu is not a threat at present and the recent samples were tested negative for avian influenza, adding that the situation is under control.

The Minister also underscored the importance of continual agriculture goods fairs in the country to prevent price hike, APA reports.
