Azeryolservis reconstructs over 20km road in Baku

Azeryolservis told APA-Economics that Baku's highways are 2200km in length and 70-80% of it needs reconstruction.

Highways Budget Fund was established due to October 12, 2006 executive order of Azerbaijani President. 98m has been allocated from state budget in 2007 and executor of the allocations is Transport Ministry.

The fund is found from road taxes, taxes paid by the owners of the vehicles used for passenger and cargo transfers, excises for vehicle imports, customs paid for vehicle imports and license fee for truck transportation.
