Baku Deepwater Jackets Factory resumes producing welding electrode

The Heydar Aliyev Baku Deepwater Jackets Factory has resumed producing welding electrodes after a five-year interruption.

SOCAR told APA that the full capacity will reach 2,000 tons a year, and the first settlement of 30,000 tons of welding electrode will be produced in February, of which 15 tons will be used in construction of new platforms.

17 components are mixed in production of the electrochemical product. Sweden technologies are used in production.
