Bridge next to Azizbayov subway station can be demolished

It is two days that the experts together with local specialists continue the trials of the bridge using various methods.

The information whether the bridge is operational will be realized after the trials are over. As the result of the trials it will be possible to reconstruct the cracks appeared on the bridge, to change the scheme of traffic.

It is not ruled out that the bridge may be demolished because of the construction of new road bridge.

The Ministry stated that the president gave necessary instructions to study the problems and eliminate them. Baku State Traffic Police public relations department Chief Vagif Asadov told the APA that the traffic have been completely restored today. The experts will present the results of the investigations to the Transport Ministry soon.

As APA reports, January 31 from 10.00 to 13.00, traffic was stopped on bridge near Azizbayov metro station. This bridge was constructed in 1973.
