Azeri insurance companies' nominal capital grew 22.4%

All insurance companies in Azerbaijan have, to January 1, increased their authorized capital to AZN 700,000, the minimum limit determined by the legislation.

Finance Ministry told the APA that the total amount of the paid-up authorized capital of the insurance companies in Azerbaijan stood at AZN 39,413,511.16, to January 1, 2007, up 22.4% from the previous year.

The total shares of foreign investors in the authorized capitals made AZN 3,856,944.1 or 9.78% of the aggregate authorized capital.
