Bank Standard lends first mortgage in 2007

Bank Standard, as an authorized bank of the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund, has lent the first mortgage loan in 2007.

Bank's head office told the APA that its Siyazan Branch lent the mortgage, interest rate 6 annually, and amount AZN 18,300. It is the third mortgage loan by the regional branches. Ganja and Lenkeran branches lent loans in 2006.

Bank Standard was the first to lend the first mortgage in March, 2006 when mortgage lending started in Azerbaijan.

The AMF has 22 authorized banks in mortgage lending process.
