Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry raises claim against BP-Azerbaijan

300 sq m area has been polluted with oil as a result of the incident happened near Govlar station in Tovuz region.

Claim of AZN1233 was raised against bp-Azerbaijan for the pollution of the land, Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry told the APA. 25 000 tonnes oil spilt over the area as a result of the incident.

The incident happened because of one of the broken axes of wheels of the wagon. As a result of it the 25th, 26th and 27th wagons of Baku-Georgia goods train turned over.
