France-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission meeting

Azeri Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev and French Trade Minister Christine Lagarde are co-chairing the meeting.

The Ministry told APA that Azerbaijani delegation is composed of representatives from the Azerbaijani Foreign, Finance, Health, Agriculture, Industry and Energy Ministries, State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan Airlines (AzAL) and National Bank.
 
The issues concerning trade turnover between Azerbaijan and France, economic cooperation perspectives and holding continual bilateral meetings are under discussion.

Lafrage's bid to construct a cement plant in Azerbaijan will also be discussed.

A final protocol adopted at the one-day meeting.
