Sangachal-Gazimammad gas pipeline to be constructed

Sangachal-Gazimammad gas pipeline of 47 kms to be constructed in order to extend transportation and to ensure safety of Shah Deniz gas in Azerbaijan.

According to the information, given from the State Oil Company (SOCAR), construction work will be realized in two stages.

In the first stage the pipeline will be constructed till Galmaz subsoil gas deposit. Construction work will be finished till the end of 2007.

Meanwhile, Gazimammad is junction of gas distribution systems. The main lines, providing Azerbaijan with gas pass from this area. ANS
