Azerbaijan applies to Russia for use of Volga-Don canal in 2007

Azerbaijan State Shipping Company has sent the list of ships to the Russia's Federal Agency of Sea and River for the use of Volga-Don canal in 2007, the only water route linking Baku to the outside world.

Company chairman Vugar Sadigov told APA that Russia was expected to answer in early January.

Russia allotted 25 entries limit to the Company.
