Delegation of Auditor Chamber visited France

The purpose of visit consisted in increase of potential of structure and studying of the international experience in the field of preparation of a plan of measures for auditor reforms in the country.

In the frame of visit, the foreign colleagues were given detailed information on the successes reached in Azerbaijan in the field of the state construction and democratization of society, economic reforms, development of audit and maintenance of financial transparency, and also corresponding visual aids were presented. Members of delegation have familiarized with the experience of corresponding structures of France in the field of the organization and regulation of audit, have brought in republic necessary documents. The plan of measures will be prepared on the basis of these materials, which will be brought into accord with local conditions.

On the recommendation of the World Bank, the multilateral Memorandum of cooperation has been signed with Association of the Certificated Chief Accountants of Canada, the Association of professional experts-bookkeepers and National Association of Auditors of France. The document provides carrying out of exchange of experience in the field of studying and application of the international experience in sphere of professional ethics and activity, quality of services, licensing, increase of education, communication, information techniques, and accounting and auditor affairs.
