Vice-Premier receives Russian delegation

Yagub Eyyubov conveyed to Mrs. Orlova greetings of the Azerbaijan President, noting the actively developing bilateral relations, the increasing trade turnover between two countries.

Speaking on mutually beneficial economic ties, Mrs. Orlova informed that currently the talks are underway on assembling of the KAMAZ automobiles in Azerbaijan.

Touching upon the situation of transportation of the Russian gas to Azerbaijan, the rise of prices and fall of volume, Yagub Eyyubov said that appropriate negotiations with Gazprom would start in Moscow on 22 December.

Svetlana Orlova, noting high level of Azerbaijan-Russia interstate relations, emphasized dynamics of relations, developing in many fields, as well as the necessity of expansion of cooperation, in particular, in the field of information technology, innovation and machine-building.

At her words, in spring 2007, Chairman of the RF Federation Council Sergey Mironov would visit Azerbaijan. AzerTAg
