New banknotes beat 95% in circulation in Azerbaijan

New banknotes have exceeded 95 percent in the circulation in Azerbaijan.

National Bank of Azerbaijan Management Board chairman Elman Rustamov said that old banknotes will not be used after January 1, but people can exchange the old banknotes at the National Bank and its offices.

He called on people to be careful about counterfeit banknotes, APA reports.
