Azerbaijan Emergencies Ministry and French Ministry for Regional development signs protocol

Before the meeting, the guest visited Heydar Aliyev's monument constructed in the center of the city. Later the meeting dedicated the discussions of the partnership between the analogical structures of Azerbaijan and France was held in Emergencies Ministry.

Saying that he has visited France twice after the ministry was established, Kamaleddin Heydarov stated that the cooperation of the ministries continues corresponding to the partnership of the countries.

"As the result of the meeting working groups from France came to Azerbaijan. This group got acquainted with all bodies of Emergencies Ministry. At present the plans about further partnership are worked out," Heydarov said.

Characterizing Azerbaijan as developing country, Christian Estrosi said that Official Baku has established a ministry for fighting with emergency situations.

"There is partnership between our structures in the field of civil defense. To be signed protocol will make Azerbaijan the closest partner of France. The agreement to be signed between our countries will give opportunity for both countries to participate in emergency situations together," the minister said.

The French minister also stressed that at present, Azerbaijan and France negotiates in the sphere of buying new equipments and in other fields. He mentioned that France is always ready to present Azerbaijan his experience.

At the end of the meeting, partnership protocol was signed between Azerbaijan Emergencies Ministry and French Ministry for Regional Development, APA reports.
