Barmek officers sentenced

The trial of 6 Barmek-Azerbaijan Electric Network officers, presided over by Azer Jafarov in Grievous Crimes Court was over on Friday.

Elnur Mutallimov and Firudin Agayev were sentenced to 2 years, Asif Alakbarov and Ahliman Mammadov to a year and 6 months under the Article 314.2 (negligence), Alesker Ramazanov to 3 years, Rahib Musayev to 3 years and 6 months under the Article 308 (abuse of power) of the Criminal Code.

Advocate Fikret Mirzoyev told APA they would appeal to the Appeals Court.
